The Decemberists just cancelled the rest of the “long of it/short of it” tour…

The interweb seems to think Colin Meloy’s the sick band member in question, and, while that is exactly what one would expect the interweb to be purporting, the prospect makes me very, very sad. It’s silly, but I love his songs so much that I almost feel like I know him.
